Some love stories aren’t simply about two people finding each other... they’re about two families finding home in one another.

A few months before their wedding day, I had the pleasure of photographing their family, giving me the chance to get to know this beautiful crew before stepping into such an important day in their lives. It made being trusted to capture their wedding all the more meaningful.

 

When the rain moved their ceremony beneath the tent, what could have felt like a compromise became something beautifully intimate. Surrounded by their children and the people they love most, Candice and Mike said “I do.” A heartfelt celebration of two families becoming one.

 

Then, almost perfectly timed, the rain passed. The sun returned, leaving behind the most incredible sky... one of those little pieces of wedding-day magic you simply couldn’t have planned.
